The Shepherd Hut is within walking distance to Windermere town centre. You will find some great places to eat and drink as well as beautiful shops and supermarkets. Lake Windermere and Bowness centre is a twenty minute walk. With fabulous villages and walks on the doorstep including Orrest Head view point you are spoilt for choice for places to visit during your stay.
